A user -friendly radio for each ship
The black and white display with high contrast can be clearly seen in light daylight and offers an inverted white-on-black night mode.
A rotary control facilitates channel selection, while large keys enable quick access to other main functions.
The dedicated channel 16 keys, which can be found on the radio and on the fist microphone, offer immediate access to the emergency channel.
A supplied swivel bracket enables the simplest assembly on the table, above the head or on a bulkhead.
The flush desk assembly is also possible, whereby the device can be installed from the front in order to adapt it to the flat profile of our glass bridge displays and their accessories.

DSC approval class D
DSC, or "Digital Selective Calling", makes it easier to stay in touch with other boat drivers, and enables you to transfer the location of your boat in an emergency.
If you are in difficulties, the dedicated emergency button of the RS20 starts a DSC emergency call that sends the position of the ship to all people within the FM area.
When using together with a traditional radio emergency call, it facilitates other boaters with DSC-capable radio devices to recognize their situation and to help them.
An integrated GPS receiver means that your position can also be sent if your ship's rest of your ship is switched off.

Easy access to all international channels
The RS20S is designed for global use and supports all international channels.
With the three-channel monitoring function, you can easily scan between the current channel, channel 16 and other configurable priority channels (in the USA scan between the current channel, the emergency channel 16 and call channel 9).
Alternatively, you can monitor all available channels or just your favorites.
Emergency channels can be prioritized when scanning to reduce the likelihood, to miss emergency calls or other urgent security reports.
