Product information "NASA - Battery Monitor BM-2 Compact + / 12 V, 200 A"
The BM-2 Compact was developed for monitoring 12 V batteries, with a capacity of up to 600 ampers hours. The device is delivered entirely with a 200 A measuring resistor (shunt) and a prefabricated wiring harness, which enables easy installation.
The battery monitor continuously monitors the on-board tension, the loading and discharge current and the loading status of the battery in percent as well as the time remaining for loading or unloading.
By connecting a battery monitor, more efficient use of the battery is possible, the lifespan of the battery is extended and the risk of a failure is reduced.
Specifications:
Supply voltage: 8-16 V DC
Battery capacity: 5 - 600 Ah
Discharge current: max. 200 a
Charging current: max. 200 a
Measurement resistance: 200 A / 50 MV
Display of the currents: 0 - 9.9 a in 0.1 A steps, 10 - 200 A in 1.0 A steps
Contrastful LC display, backlit for night operation
Particularly compact display device, only 124 x 62 mm in size and only 23 mm deep
Very low power consumption: only approx. 1.5 mA
Connection cables included in the scope of delivery:
Connection cable from 100 A shunt to the battery with M8 ring cable shoe.
5 meters of connection cable from the display device to the shunt, provided with ring cable shoes for connection to the shunt, supply line with fuse and M8 ring cable shoe for connection to the battery.
