H07V-K - strand tinned - 1 x 0.5 mm², black - cable

Flexible wiring line with tinned wires-H07V-like strained strands (single wirers) made of tinned copper wires, therefore extremely resistant to corrosion. Ader insulation based on PVC, can be used for installations indoors, e.g. wiring of switching boards.

The problem: bare copper wires corrode very quickly. This corrosion arises wherever the copper conductor is not 100 percent airtight.
The ends of the cables at the transition to cable shoe or plug are particularly at risk. The corrosion increases the resistance of the connection, increased voltage drop or functional disorders.
The lines must be completely replaced, the exchange of the cables is very complex and expensive.
The salty, moist or hotter the air, the faster this process is.
The solution: In contrast, tinned copper wires hardly corrode and therefore have to be practically never renewed.
Tinned lines are a bit more expensive, but the exchange of corroded cables is very complex, the additional price is worthwhile.
